At 8 AM

Each week, students of Photo-Arts I+II, an introductory course in photographic production, research, scout, style and stage a relevant photograph from the history of photography then prepare it for publication in the university's student newspaper, The Meliorist.

This activity, made in fulfillment of course requirements, became a catalyst for collaborative exchange and individual learning. In addition to and alongside this weekly collaboration, participants realized technical and conceptual exercises and pursued individually driven creative projects throughout the term.

The class composed of seven students and one instructor, met twice weekly--at 8 AM.
